Day 80: Busselton, West Australia

Another place I’ve never heard of, and these places seem to deliver the most joy, as there are no expectations to live up to. Busselton has a shallow beach, so the built this incredibly long pier, nearly 2K in length, which has a train that goes out to the end. There is an artificial reef around the end of the pier, with easy access for snorkelers and divers, so we hauled our masks and fins over and walked to the end for a snorkel.
We went into the town, which felt about the same size as Albany, or maybe larger, and Jess got a pedicure since the ship spa has a three week wait. I kicked around the commercial district, and we ended up at the brewery. Go figure.
I’m a fan of public art, and there was no shortage here! The cute girl above allowed us to take her photo so Jess can matchmake for Sage, LOL!
Next up: Perth!
